History

DFM was founded in 1979 as a small concern making handcrafted products.
Over the following years, founder Sergio Marcantoni contributed a continuous flow of ideas, along with a spirit of enterprise and a constant aspiration for innovation. This enabled production to achieve semi-industrial dimensions. For about six years, we have been working with two divisions. The first (Interior Decoration) is concerned with the manufacture of rods, rings and accessories for curtains and furnishing textiles. The second (Specialist Curtains and Insect Screens) develops and manufactures products with a leadership position in the sector (our specialist curtains and insect screens are protected by European patents). We operate in three factories located about 25 km from Rome.

From concept to design and manufacture

The quest for innovation is a constant feature at DFM. We work with highly qualified technicians in order to design and manufacture exclusive products, as well as the plant and equipment necessary for their production. This has enabled DFM to become a market leader in the sectors of furnishing textiles, technical curtains and insect screens, by merit of the technology that it has developed and its consolidated efficiency.

Complete control over manufacturing processes

At DFM, every product is monitored throughout the various production phases, from the selection of raw materials (profiles, screen, textiles) to manufacture, right through to the finished product. This enables us to maintain complete control over quality, and to optimize all stages of the manufacturing process. The result is an excellent quality-price ratio, which enables us to be highly competitive in the Italian, European and world markets. In fact, DFM has a large number of clients based outside Italy.

At DFM, every client is assured complete assistance before and after purchase, by means of a highly specialized customer care service. We have long been operating an efficient call centre, which provides detailed information and can offer rapid solutions to any problems that may arise.
